Whether you’re planning a weekend trip this summer, or just a backyard cookout, protect yourself from bug bites with a natural bug repellent! Here are 5 recipes to try…
As the weather warms up, we humans aren’t the only creatures to celebrate summer! The bugs are out in full force, and seeking a tasty bite to eat… While bug repellents abound, many of them are full of chemicals that may not be so good for our health in the long-term. But should you try a natural bug repellent instead, and do they really work?
In fact, there are a number of reasons why many people choose natural, homemade insect repellents over the chemical-filled ones. Many DIY bug repellents work quite well, but with less risk of skin irritation and long-term health consequences, and they are generally safer to use around children and pets. They are also usually quite easy to make, and won’t cost you an arm and a leg!
