They may not suck your blood, but you can bet they’re sucking energy – and that’s costing you money! We’re talking about energy vampires. Here’s where to find them, and how to fend them off (no stinky garlic required)!
If your home has any electronics at all (and whose doesn’t?), you probably have energy vampires. These are the sneaky little timers, clocks, and other internal workings of electronics that use electricity – even when they’re turned off.
Even if you’re good at turning off your electronics when you leave the room, you may be surprised to learn that some of them are still using 10-20% of the electricity they use when they are on!
