[Video] How to Support Yourself On One-Tenth Of An Acre

Want a true example of sustainable living? This incredible family grows nearly all of their food on their 1/10 acre urban homestead! Check out this amazing video!
The Dervaes family has made an art of living sustainably. For the past 10 years, they have been growing their own food, and making a living, on a mere tenth-acre plot near Los Angeles. They produce over 6,000 pounds of food per year, feeding their family and selling the excess to local restaurants.
Besides 400 varieties of vegetables and fruits, they also raise goats for milk, bees for honey, and chickens and ducks for eggs, pest control, and fertilizer for the garden.
They make their own biodiesel to power their vehicles, and get their electricity from solar panels, living as close to an off-grid lifestyle in a major metropolitan area as is probably possible.
